Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located close to public transport, shops, restaurants, and only a 15-minute walk to the Prince of Wales Hospital and cafes/shops. The rooms, although next to the main road and front entrance, were the bare minimum standard with unmade beds upon return. The service was commendable with helpful check-in staff and assistance for various needs. The dining experience just up the road was delicious and offered fantastic value.
The lodge's room, though located at the back opening up to a courtyard, lacked the charm I believe the heritage rooms would have offered. The ambiance felt cold and hospital-like, making my stay uncomfortable. On the positive side, it was quieter away from road traffic.
The hotel rooms were clean and fresh-smelling, with a modern and very comfortable double bed. However, there was a terrible stench from the bathroom drains and the room got uncomfortably hot at night even with the air conditioning on. The location at the back of the property was quiet and suited our needs well.
I had a great stay at The Lurline Randwick. The rooms were clean and comfy, although a bit small for my liking, the service was friendly and very helpful, the location was spot on with everything I needed within reach, and the dining experience was exceptional. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor drawbacks.
My stay at Randwick Lodge was fine. The rooms are comfortable but could use a shelf. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the location was good for my needs. The dining options were good, and the facilities met my expectations.
The hotel is located in a wonderful spot with easy access to public transport, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are clean, modern, and secure, offering a comfortable stay. While the shared balcony adds to the spacious feeling, the lack of soundproofing may lead to noise disturbances. The service is friendly and accommodating, with the option for additional cleaning for a fee. The dining experience is convenient and delightful with vouchers available for a nearby café. The location is perfect for exploring the city and nearby beaches, with the light rail just steps away.
The hotel is perfectly located close to shops, transport, restaurants, and offers a convenient stay. I found the rooms to be comfortable and quiet, though on the smaller side. The service was friendly and helpful, with a minor issue regarding bed-making skills. The location is ideal for accessing the south-east suburbs and Centennial Park, with plenty of amenities nearby. The dining experience was good, easy to access, and can be delivered to your room upon request.
Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The room condition was great with an Avoca view, although it was not as quiet due to its central courtyard location. The service was commendable, especially with the secure onsite parking assistance. The location near amenities and UNSW was convenient, making it a top choice for future stays. Dining in the courtyard was enjoyable, offering really good options. The facilities provided added to the comfort of the stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was convenient with nearby amenities, but the room setup felt unsafe and had limited power outlets. The staff's service varied from friendly to rude. The dining options were good, and the historical building added charm to the stay.
